FRESH BAKED GOODS
Fresh Baked Goods, the store, was founded by Laura-Jean the Knitting Queen as a home for her line Fresh Baked Goods. The line, known in the beginning for fun, cute and cozy knits, grew into a full clothing line of dresses, tops and skirts as well as sweaters. The store evolved into a collective, becoming headquarters for many Toronto-made lines of clothing, jewellery and accessories. Read on below for more info on our current designers.

DORLY DESIGNS
Dorly Designs was born from its creator’s knack for transforming everyday items like belt buckles, zippers, buttons, yarn, tiles, and beads into decorative motifs or stylish one-of-a-kind pieces. Since its inception in 2008, the label has added a trendy line of upscale Womenswear to the existing mix of recognizable staples of the brand: Zip It Apparel, A Tote of Many Sweaters, as well as wool felted accessories, buckle up jewelry, and tile glass rings. Dorly’s all-around design philosophy is simple: wear a statement.

SEW MO’
Sew Mo’ (aka: Moira Coughlan) specializes in functional, durable and downright fashionable handbags for women.  A one woman show based in Toronto, Moira designs and creates all of her bags by hand. A passion for sewing and design and careful garment construction is provided in every Sew Mo’ bag. Formally trained as an Architectural Technologist, Moira started sewing after her mother (an avid sewer), on a whim, bought Moira an old Singer sewing machine from a garage sale.  The machine sat around gathering dust until Moira started to feel sorry for the poor thing.  She took a beginners sewing class in February of 2007 and a beautiful friendship began.  Moira designed and made her first handbag that summer and hasn’t stopped since.

BLACK JAM
One of a Kind Wearable Art. I make jewelry and accessories that are statement pieces. All my work is handmade and one of a kind. I love the idea of randomness. I love the process of making. I love the thinking about what I will do next whether it's the next stitch or colour choice. I love to see what will happen next. I love imagining the people who will wear my work.

GO LIGHTLY HOLLY
Go Lightly is a fresh new clothing line created by Holly Price in 2009. The line is based on creating unique styles that are comfortable and classic.

Holly is a carefree and lighthearted person who enjoys every aspect of life. Her passion for design started at an early age where she learned from her Mom that being creative with her hands was a rewarding pass-time. Inquisitively she took on projects learning the basics quickly. Barbie never looked so good! In high school, Holly participated enthusiastically in drama club and was head of wardrobe in her graduating year.

Inspiration comes from music, art, frequent trips to second hand shops and architecture. Holly has an affinity towards things that are a little rough around the edges. In the event that she as some free time you will find her reading books or articles on economics and environmental ingenuity.
